Find Your Niche
“You have to find your niche!” You might have heard this many times already. In today's newsletter, I want to clear things up when it comes to finding your own niche.
You have to find your voice first
I’m a big believer in not finding a niche, but more being your very own niche by letting it find you. If you are representing yourself as your true self, it will attract the right people who resonate with you. The most important step in this game? Go out there, show what you do, write down and share your experiences and your story, share your knowledge, and post sawdust of your work in progress.
There are many ways to show yourself online, but the most important thing is that you show up. Every day. And over time, you will find your voice. And with that also your very own niche.
If you still need guidance for this, here is a small exercise for you.
Ask yourself the following questions:
Where are you excellent at?
What makes you special?
How can you give value to people?
What are your interests?
What are your values?
Now, having those answers, you should be able to know what kind of direction you can go. Start posting and sharing something you love on those topics and what you are obsessed with. The right people will see it and give you a follow. All this will not happen if you don't leave your comfort zone and start posting. Without this step, you won't reach anything. So make sure you go all in. Step by step.
Wrap-up
Start sharing what you love on social. Make sure it's valuable and interesting. Let the right people follow you. After a while, your niche is there. It's you.
